Little Louie’s was established in Point Richmond in 1974 at the site of a former biker bar. In 1997, the present owner,
Raquel Leary, came to work and envisioned a first-rate, affordable casual dining restaurant serving customers across
the Bay Area.
Raquel’s dream of running a restaurant started early in life. Growing up as one of 13 children in the Philippines, her family
often hosted large gatherings of up to 100 persons, who gathered to celebrate family milestones. After raising her three beautiful daughters, she was ready to re-enter the workforce and followed her early passion to work in the food business. She worked in local restaurants part-time and came to Little Louie’s.
Raquel has always insisted on the value of cleanliness and buying food from family owned
businesses. She chooses breads from the local bakery Semifreddis and meats from Saags. She selects fresh
fruits and vegetables from various local markets.
Below are several reviews from customers across the Bay Area:
“... Little Louie’s sandwiches manage to remain satisfying and delightful...”
“... Little Louie’s is probably the best place in downtown Point Richmond for lunch.”
“... This place is a hidden treasure with great food and atmosphere.”
“...You really felt like you were in a cafe in a small village where most people know each other.”
